Ability Installations was established in Jan 2008, installing door entry, and phone entry systems for disabled and elderly people having difficulty opening their doors. Our work involves referrals from local authority social services departments throughout the UK. As well as local authorities we also undertake work for housing associations, Care & Repair agencies, Age Concern and private individuals.
 Our latest range of door access systems includes our hands-free system where a telephone interface is used which uses the existing house phones to speak to the caller at the door, and coded access using a keypad and cctv/observation systems to view the caller at the door. The user can even use a cordless phone from anywhere in the house, even the garden.
Our systems can be fitted to most types of doors including timber, composite and plastic UPVc. We supply and install a wide range of electric releases and locks including night latch locks for basic security needs through to high security insurance compliant locks. We also offer single or multiple point release locks are available for UPVc plastic doors.
We are happy to offer help and advice to occupational therapists, service providers and social workers on access control and assistive technology issues. Our services also include joint visits with occupational therapists and social workers to service users in their own homes. We can offer advice and demonstrate our systems, giving users the added benefit of using products before ordering. We do not usually charge for these visits.
